Llevelo Garden Design is a multi-award winning Garden Design practice based on the Suffolk – Essex border and covering a wide range of gardens in Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, London and Hertfordshire.
We are committed to being a quality led garden design practice leading from the front in all aspects from creativity and client service to sustainability. Founded by Penelope Walker in 2017, Llevelos philosphosy is based on fully understanding their clients to enable them to deliver beautiful bespoke gardens.
Experienced in all elements of the Design and Build elements of Garden Design, Llevelo will guide you through the process seemlessly. We make all aspects of Garden Design as transparent as possible so our clients have full confidence in how the final garden will look before a spade hits the ground.
Llevelo Garden Design is a totally independent practice committed only to delivering quality design work and their clients. However, we do of course work alongside an array of skilled contractors including hard and soft landscapers, sculptors, water feature specialists, architects, interior designers, builders and planners. We have spent considerable time in building up a network of contractors who we are happy to recommend to our clients. We know our contacts are experts in their field and have confidence in their skill and reliability.
Penelope Walker
Llevelo Garden Design was founded by Penelope Walker who had been working as garden designer for many years. Penelope’s ethos is very much client orientated and she enjoys the variety of design requests and challenges that she is presented with. Penelope has long had a deep passion for being outdoors, plants and design so a career in Garden and Landscape Design was a natural calling.
After graduating from the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden, London, Penelope spent a year working at The Place for Plants; a highly reputable independent Plant Nursery selling an everyday and unusual plants from perennials to shrubs and trees.
Penelope’s strength lies in her spatial awareness and ability to make a space fit for purpose as well as beautiful and reflective of its setting. Her particular passion is for gardens that promote wellbeing or ‘Relaxation Gardens’. At The RHS Cheslea Flower Show, Llevelo was awarded five stars for their ‘Calm and Wellbeing’ garden for Hartley Botanic.

With extensive experience of listening to clients needs and delivering quality work, Penelope has vast knowledge of what is required to design and implement a range of gardens and landscapes as well as a real eye for style.
